Tune up and out.
I wouldn't refer to it as busy. Nor would I reference the word work. Maybe assiduous or diligent but never work. There's a fine line that separates stress from commitment and commitment from negation. For me its been a balancing act of projects. Flyers, ads, jersey's, posters...
Since seasons end the thought of riding my bike for sport hasn't crossed my mind until today. While engaging myself in the world domination project I took time out to surf cycling news for the latest. I found my self re-reading the words, "Marko LaLonde of Madison, Wisc., powered across the finish line first..." I was stoked, jumping from my chair and raising my arms in the air as if I was the one crossing the line. I'm extremely proud to call this kid my brother yet alone get to ride with him on a consistent basis. Between the season we shared together, the third bro's performance at the Wisco state champs, and this, I'm piling the kindling I need to start the 2008 fire. Thanks bro's!
In the meantime, I'm focused on clearing the mind via adobe illustrator. The 08 BKB gear has taken form so keep your eyes and ears open. 08 bike sponsorship is sealed. The snow is shoveled, chain lubed, and socks put away. I picked up the latest edition of COG which is a free quarterly publication put out by a Milwaukeean trio which includes the talented Peter DiAntoni. James scored a contributing photographer cred with a great shot from NACCCS. Also featured is a dignified interview with Jon Kendziera of Jonny cycles who happens to be a local frame builder amongst others. Read it >>>>
